Kisumu Governor H.E. Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o visits Kirwara Level 4 Hospital in Gatanga to assess newly launched Mobile Dialysis Truck
Murang’a Governor Dr. Irungu Kang’ata welcomed Kisumu Governor H.E. Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o to Kirwara Level 4 Hospital in Gatanga to assess dialysis services provided through the newly launched Mobile Dialysis Truck—the first of its kind in Kenya.
This innovative truck, acquired through a partnership between the Murang’a County Government and Benacare, is bringing life-saving dialysis treatment directly to patients by moving from one health center to another.
Now, Murang’a residents no longer have to travel long distances for treatment, reducing costs and improving healthcare access. Dialysis services are also available at Murang’a Level 5 Hospital and Kigumo Sub-County Hospital, where a new dialysis centre was recently opened.
