Kigoro Dairy Title Deed Handover
H.E Dr.Irungu Kang’ata joined Milk Farmers and Board members of Kirogo Dairy Co-operative at Kigoro Dairy Headquarters for a title deed handover ceremony in Kariara Ward, Gatanga Subcounty.
Kigoro Dairy started in 2015 and has 1,656 registered farmers so far.This handover guarantees these farmers full ownership of the land and will enable them expand this cooperative to accommodate more farmers.
This comes after the County Government handed over the Murang’a County Creameries Cooperative Union (MCCCU) to farmers in March 2024 to empower them. Murang’a County remains Committed to supporting farmers.
