About the Department

The Lands, Planning, and Urbanization Department is dedicated to Sustainable Land Management, Urban Development, and Orderly Spatial Planning across Murang’a County. It oversees Land Administration, Physical Planning, and Urban Infrastructure Development to promote Well-Organized Growth and Equitable Access to land and public amenities. The department also ensures Environmental Balance and Modern Urbanization, creating Livable, Resilient, and Efficient Urban Spaces.
