The Murang'a County Government has implemented a comprehensive BodaBoda Programme aimed at enhancing the safety, professionalism, and economic prospects of motorcycle taxi operators within the county. Recognizing the pivotal role that boda boda riders play in local transportation and the associated risks, the program focuses on providing free training and facilitating the acquisition of smart driving licenses. In its initial phase, over 450 riders underwent extensive training on road safety regulations and successfully completed the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) driving tests, culminating in the issuance of smart driving licenses.
