Maize and Fertilizer Distribution

H.E. Dr. Irungu Kang'ata joined farmers across various wards for the Maize and Fertilizer distribution exercise, aimed at boosting production for both household consumption and commercial farming, contributing to food security in Murang’a. Farmers in Kamahuha, Kimorori/Wempa, Kambiti, Ithanga, Makuyu, and Kakuzi/Mitumbiri wards each received: ✅ 2 Kgs Maize seeds ✅ 8 Kgs Planting Fertilizer ✅ 8 Kgs Top-Dressing Fertilizer Additionally, to support farmers and ensure a ready market, the County Government is purchasing last season’s maize harvest in partnership with Joy Millers Ltd at Ksh 3,500 per bag.
