ICPAK Signs Landmark MoU with Murang’a County to Boost Public Finance Management

ICPAK has today signed a landmark MoU with the Murang’a County Executive, setting the stage for strengthened public finance management and enhanced professional development across the county. During the meeting with Prof. Joseph Kiarie Mwaura, CEC for Finance & Economic Planning, ICPAK Vice Chairman FCPA Benard Amukah and CEO CPA Dr. Grace Kamau reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to partnering with counties on impactful reforms and capacity-building initiatives. Prof. Kiarie welcomed the collaboration, noting that the partnership will significantly improve financial governance and service delivery in Murang’a. Key areas of focus include capacity building, zero-fault audit strategies, technical support to MSMEs, and internship opportunities for budding accountants. The ICPAK delegation comprised Vice Chairman FCPA Benard Amukah, CEO Dr. Grace Kamau, Mt. Kenya Branch Chairman CPA Paul Njuguna, Secretary & CPD Convenor CPA Raphael Maruri, County Convenor CPA Dr. Paul Kuria, and members of the ICPAK Secretariat.
