NHIF and Muranga county have today established ” Kangata care ” medical scheme whose features are :
1. A medical insurance scheme that’s free to 20k households.
2..The households will be identified by Community Health Volunteers in consultation with Mcas. This process will commence next week and be completed 3 weeks thereafter.
3. Benefits include free access to medical services nationally ( inpatient and outpatient). Unique features include dental and optical covers plus last expense cover for 100k for principal member ,spouse and children plus 50k for parents.
