The Murang’a County Level 5 Hospital’s Haemophilia Care Clinic
The Murang’a County Level 5 Haemophilia Care Clinic was officially opened on 1st November 2018 and is now fully operational. Haemophilia is an inherited bleeding disorder where blood does not clot properly. Specialized treatment is needed to help blood clot normally. the clinic was funded by the Novo Nordisk haemophilia foundation. Established in 2005 in Zurich Switzerland, the Novo Nordisk’s purpose is to address the significant need for improving care for people with haemophilia and allied bleeding disorders.
