KENNETH MATIBA EYE, DENTAL AND CANCER DIAGNOSTIC CENTER
The Kenneth Matiba Eye, Dental and Cancer Diagnostic Center is one of the flagship projects initiated by the Murang’a County Government in the spirit of devolution which entails bringing health services closer to the people.
The hospital provides high quality, specialized healthcare at subsidized rates to residents taking into account the high cost of these services in other centers. Situated at Kenol Town the hospital is strategically located to serve patients from all parts of the county.
With a range of highly specialized equipment only found in few other hospitals across the country, The Kenneth Matiba Eye, Dental and Cancer Diagnostic Center is one of its kind in this region. Occasionally, the center attends to patients from the neighboring Machakos, Kiambu and Kirinyaga counties with others travelling from Meru County.
The hospital is named after former opposition leader Kenneth Matiba especially recognized for his role in the fight for multiparty democracy in Kenya in the early 90s
